Is Shilpa Shetty hiding her Hollywood debut?

What's interesting is that she has kept it under wraps for reasons best known to her. After denying stories that she was supposedly doing a Hollywood flick with none other than Brad Pitt titled Babel, it now comes to light that Shilpa Shetty is actually acting in a Hollywood film, but not with Pitt! She's supposed to be doing a horror film called Forever, which is being made by one Roger Mende. What's interesting is that she has kept it under wraps for reasons best known to her. "Usually, people scream from the rooftops if they are doing anything remotely related to Hollywood. But Shilpa has chosen to keep mum about this project," says a source. In fact, a leading international movie database website has listed her as a cast member for this film. The film apparently is about a woman's soul taking on the soul of the daughter's. Dennis Hopper (Speed) and Edward Furlong (Terminator 2: Judgement Day) are said to be a part of the film as well, but have not yet been confirmed. Shilpa, apparently is playing the role of Amrita Ledew. While Mende is said to be well known in Hollywood circles, he has never been part of a studio blockbuster. When contacted, Shilpa outrightly denied the association. "It's not true. First I was doing a film with Brad Pitt. Who is it this time? Tom Cruise? Who is this Roger? I've heard this name somewhere... When I will sign a Hollywood film, you'll will be the first to know about it." When informed that she has been credited as a cast member, she said, "This is disgusting, pathetic."

I got 2500 wedding proposals

Bollywood bombshell Shilpa Shetty knew her fans loved her, she just did not know how much.
When the actress, known for her perfect 10 figure, gave out her e-mail address to the public she thought it would help her interact better with her fans.
Instead, the actress received thousands of marriage proposals.
"It's really amazing to discover so many people in love with you," Shilpa told a national daily on Wednesday.
"I want to make it clear that my e-mail ID is meant to facilitate interaction with my fans; this is not a marriage portal," she added.
In the first three days after she gave out her e-mail she received 2,500 letters, she said.
But considering her popularity, it seems she shouldn't be surprised. Source :SantaBanta

God knows what's Shilpa Shetty upto

By Subhash K JhaIs Shilpa Shetty heading to Hollywood? "Most certainly not! But I've headed out to Tirupathi on Sunday night. I've walked up and down to the temple barefeet the whole night and I could certainly do with a spot of humour right now. The report that I'm doing a horror film called Forever with ….who is it?….yeah Roger Mende, gives me that much-needed relief."Recovering from serious mouth ulcerations ("That's why I couldn't say much in the first episode of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa) and having just made peace with her God Shilpa is in a sober mood."Hollywood is something I've never given a serious thought to. The closest I came to doing an international project was Mahmood Sipra's Sooraj Ka Dastak which Madhuri Dixit and I were supposed to do. Now I'm too busy back home to head Westwards," says the fatigued actress."I'm heading home to Mumbai tomorrow. I have to shoot for Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. Coming to Tirupathi has become an annual event for me. I've been doing it for four years. Believe me, I feel rejuvenated the minute I reach the holy spot. This year my sister Shamita couldn't accompany me because she's shooting for Cash in South Africa." Cash before prayers.

Shilpa Shetty replaces Karisma on TV show

A report that Shilpa Shetty has replaced Karisma Kapoor in a dance show on Sony TV because she is worth much less, has upset both the actress and the channel.
Shilpa, who wears the judge’s cap for Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, said, “I know why I stepped into Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and how much I have been paid.” “I have been offered lots of television before. So far, I resisted the temptation because I did not want anyone to say I was getting into television because I had no films on hand.”
